About Fox Run · Waynesville, North Carolina
Rented from neighbors, not a corporation.
Fox Run is a small community in the Jonathan Creek valley, between Waynesville and Maggie Valley — owned and run by folks who live right here.
Rooted in Maggie Valley for generations
Our Story
We didn't move here. We're from here.
Our roots in Haywood County run back generations — school, work, raising kids, all of it, right here in these mountains. Fox Run is how we do right by a place that's given us plenty.
When Helene Hit
When Hurricane Helene came through Western North Carolina, we stayed — looking after the area and standing with our neighbors. That's not a slogan. It's just what you do when it's yours.
Life Here
Some mornings, the neighbors have antlers.
Elk wander down from Great Smoky Mountains National Park and stroll through the valley like they own it. Mist sits on the ridgeline until mid-morning. It's quiet in a way that's hard to describe — and easy to get used to.

No runaround. No 1-800 number.
